McCowan Residence

The McCowan residence, in the Treyburn community just North of Durham, took four years to design and build. This modern, 6000 square foot house sits comfortably beneath a canopy of deciduous trees and incorporates generous outdoor decks which extend the living space into nature. A glass bridge ties the two masses of the house together and sits above a screened-in lap pool. Because of its location between a golf course and a wooded area, the house feels very open without compromising privacy.
