Naturally, he and his wife wanted a modern house. But they didn’t want to leave their old neighborhood. Then, on one of their daily walks in the neighborhood, they found a 40-year-old structure for sale. The indistinct house was beyond repair, but it occupied a promising lot with a southeast exposure to a beautiful lake.
